My experience in college so far
If this
first month in college could be summed up in a single word, it would be growth.
I don't mean physical growth, but academic growth as well as a build in
character. To be honest, the transition from school life to college was
exciting but extremely terrifying as well as meeting a whole new bunch of
people, or being judged and adjusting and adapting myself are some of the
things that I am not most comfortable with.
This past
month has taught me how to be responsible and independent. I have never worked
as hard as I did this month to earn good grades. I think I also learned through every assignment I did, I worked hard, put effort into it, however they are not
always satisfying enough but now I understand that life is not always about
endless success. It takes trials and failure and much learning in order to
achieve something. The experiences I have had in college so far has made me
realize that it is time for me to grow up.
But as
days are passing by the classes are not so
scaring anymore and everything is seemed to be better than before, I have
started enjoying little and simple things like making new friends having lunch
with my classmates, We always have a lot of things to talk about., being helped
by teachers, experiencing Submission deadlines, going the library for finding
some documents, sharing ideas with friends or balancing my workload. And the
thing that like most about going to college is that college’s student can wear
whatever they want; it doesn't matter, and there are no uniforms. Also Most of
my classmates are from different parts of India so it is really
interesting and fun to share our stories. College life is simply helping me add
to my character.
